Judith L. Lansky is the president and founder of Lansky Career Consultants, a firm committed to assisting job seekers, career changers and entrepreneurs in developing truly satisfying careers. Established in l982, the firm specializes in working with people who are making career transitions, job changes, or developing their own businesses.
Actively involved in the career development field since l974, Ms. Lansky is listed as a resource in Richard Bolles’ well-known book, What Color Is Your Parachute?
Because of her innovative approach to career development, she has appeared on numerous radio and television programs, including a one year stint as host of “Career Opportunities” on CRIS Radio. Articles by and about her have been featured in many publications.
To share her expertise in networking, Ms. Lansky authored and recorded an mp3, “The Power of Networking” (contact us if you’d like to purchase a copy!). She has also taught classes on job/career change and entrepreneurship for several Chicago area schools and colleges and frequently addresses groups on career development topics.
Her corporate clients have included IBM Corporation, Homestar Bank, Kraft Foods, M&M Mars, Bank Marketing Association, JWT (J. Walter Thompson), Foote, Cone and Belding Inc. and Philip Morris USA. She established the placement office at Columbia College where she was its first director. She was also a counselor at Flexible Careers, where she edited The Job Hunter’s Notebook.
Ms. Lansky received her M.B.A. from DePaul University and her M.A. in Applied Psychology from the University of Santa Monica.
